AMMAN: Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Sherif Ismail signed two oil and natural gas agreements on Thursday with Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Mohamed Hamed and Iraqi Minister of Oil Abdul Karim Luaibi.
The three ministers discussed implementation mechanisms for joint cooperation in energy, natural gas, and crude oil.

The ministers talked about the progress made in implementing a crude oil pipeline stretching from Iraq to Aqaba, which is expected to be finished by 2018 with an export capacity of one million barrels per day, and how Egypt and Jordan would benefit.
