CAIRO: A security guard of Te-Data Company in Nasr City assaulted several Internet subscribers after verbal altercation between them and security guards as the subscribers were paying their internet subscription in coins, according to the Facebook page of the campaign “Internet Revolution” on Thursday.
“Internet Revolution” was established to call people to pay their Internet subscription in coins to protest low quality services and high internet prices in Egypt.
According to the page, the subscribers filed a report to Nasr City police station about the assault case and after that the police came and questioned the manager of the company’s branch.
However, the security guard left before the arrival of the police, according to the subscribers.
Te-Data Company is one of the leading companies for Internet services in Egypt.
