CAIRO: Singer Dina al-Wadidi will perform at Beit el-Raseef in Maadi on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Wadidi is a young Egyptian artist whose passion for music began when she joined a band called Al-Warsha, or The Workshop, in 2007. Before joining Al Warsha, she learned to sing traditional Egyptian heritage songs with the al-Sheikh Zein band.
She has performed in more than 28 shows in Egypt and the Arab World, as well as a few countries in Europe.
She has also participated in many workshops with beloved Egyptian musician Fathy Salama.
Her songs reflect a sense of freedom and the desire to stand up against the oppressors, according to fans.
Beit al-Raseef is located in Maadi on Road 151.
