Health Ministry distributes plan to control infectious diseases in schools

CAIRO: “The Ministry of Health distributed 60 thousand copies of the ministry’s plan to control infectious diseases to different schools all over Egypt, Al-Azhar institutions, and campus housing buildings,” Amr Qandeel, Health Ministry deputy for preventive medicine, told Youm7 Thursday.

He added that all university presidents and mangers of university hospitals had received copies of the plan.

The plan includes methods on how to control infectious diseases, such as flu and meningitis, said Qandil .

Minister of Health Adel al-Adawy had announced that he would visit schools next Saturday, on the first day of the second semester, to check on preparations.
