CAIRO: Unstable weather is set to gradually worsen and heavy rain is expected to fall on a number of areas around the country starting Saturday, especially in Upper Egypt, Red Sea and Sinai, until Monday, according to meteorology experts.

Meteorology experts expected that rainfall would peak from Saturday afternoon until Sunday evening and said it might snow.

Rainfall is expected to be moderate in Cairo and coastal cities, with a noticeable decrease in temperature starting Sunday. Sandy wind combined with an offshore breeze is expected to hamper navigation in the Mediterranean and Red Seas.
