CAIRO: Western countries ignore incitement by some countries against Egypt’s military; but care about the Muslim Brotherhood’s protests, Shehab Wagih, Free Egyptians Party spokesperson, told Youm7 on Friday.
He criticized the recently released statement by the United Nations Human Rights Council which had expressed concern towards the government’s use of violence to face demonstrations.
“The statement is not accurate because it ignores the Brotherhood assaults on state institutions and their criminal acts on streets,” Wagih said.
Wagih added that “Brotherhood demonstrations break the protest law.”
