HURGHADA, Egypt: The Safaga harbor authority decided on Saturday to re-open the Safaga port after being closed for three hours for bad weather.

The navigation was halted for high bad weather as the Red Sea waves reached more than three meters high, while the wind velocity reached 28 knots.

Movement of passengers, tourists and cargo ships was suspended at Safaga port until the weather improves.
