TRIPOLI: Libya’s Interim Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has denied reaching a deal with Niger for the extradition of Muammer Gadhafi’s son Saadi who fled Libya during its 2011 revolution.

Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Zeidan said that the extradition of Saadi came after several efforts made by the Libyan government to convince Niger to send him back.

Niger had required that Saadi be humanly treated in line with law after being extradited.
