CAIRO: Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding ranked first among the 10 most active companies in the Egyptian Exchange throughout last week’s trading sessions, with a total trade volume registering 437.9 million trades at 602.4 million EGP ($ 86.549 million.)
At second place, Amer Holding Group (AMER) registered 196.2 million trades at 292.1 million EGP while the Egyptian for Tourism Resort (EGTS) registered 166.3 million trades at 305.3 million EGP at third rank.
In fourth place was Palm Hills Developments (PHDC) with 79.8 million trades at 270.1 million EGP, and at fifth rank, Arab Cotton Ginning Co (ACGC) that registered 69.3 million trades at 441.1 million EGP.
The Arabia Investments and Development and Financial Investment Holding Co (AIND) ranked sixth, registering 61.6 million trades at 113.3 million EGP, while in seventh place the Egyptian Electrical Cables (ELEC) registered 52.9 million trades at 67.9 million EGP.
In eighth place was the United Arab Stevedoring Company (UASG) with a total trade volume registering 34 million trades at 44 million EGP, and at ninth rank El-Nasr Clothing & Textiles Co. (KABO) registered 31.5 million trades at 35.4 million EGP, followed by the Citadel Capital that registered 30.2 million trades at 123.3 million EGP.
