CAIRO: A delegation of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), headed by Chairperson Mohammad Fayek, will participate in the 25th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The session will last until March 28.
The NCHR delegation will take part in the activities of the 25th session by holding a number of meetings with representatives of international and regional bodies concerned with human rights, Fayek said in statements before his departure.
Fayek said the delegation will hand over a translated summary of the fact-finding report about Rabaa sit-in dispersal, which was announced in a press conference on Wednesday, to the U.N. Human Rights Council.
The head of the NCHR is also expected to take part in the forum “Africa and the right to development,” which will be held Monday on the sidelines of the session.
