GIZA: Clashes erupted Sunday between 42 family members of student defendants and security forces in front of Giza Court.
The defendants shouted chants against the army and police when they exited the court, stirring up their relatives to infringe the security forces. The forces stationed in front of the court confronted them with tear gas, sticks and took control of the situation.
The students, allegedly affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, are accused of participating in protests and clashes at the Faculty of Engineering in Cairo University.
