Kuwait hosts 30th session of the Permanent Arab Committee on Meteorology

KUWAIT: Kuwaiti Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) hosts on Monday the 30th session of the Permanent Arab Committee on Meteorology with the participation of around 18 Arab countries and 10 regional and international organizations.

Some 60 Arab meteorological officials and experts and consultants and a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Arab League will participate in the session, DGCA said in a press conference on Sunday.

The session will tackle a raft of issues mainly climate change, training, capacity building, scientific research, communications and meteorological information systems.
