Kuwaiti interior minister heads for Morocco for Arab meeting

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left here on Tuesday for Morocco to take part in the 31st session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council meeting, due to kick off in Marakesh city on Wednesday and run for two days.

“The current situation in the Arab world is critical and requires more cooperation between Arab nations, the Kuwaiti minister said before heading for Morocco.

The meeting will seek ways to boost cooperation among Arab nations in exchanging intelligence and combating all kinds of violence and terrorism, Moroccan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Mizwar has said.

He asserted that there is a remarkable change in fighting terrorism in the Arab world.
