MARRAKESH: Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim arrived in Marrakesh, Morocco on Tuesday leading a high profile security delegation to take part in the 31st session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

The two-day meeting is due to kick off in Marrakesh on Wednesday under the auspices of Moroccan King Mohammad VI.

In statements to MENA, Ibrahim said that Egypt is keen on participating in the conference with the aim of contributing to developing an Arab security and anti-terrorism system.

Ibrahim is expected to hold joint meetings on the sidelines of the conference with a group of Arab interior ministers to discuss means of promoting cooperation in the field of security.
