CAIRO: A bomb exploded on Tuesday evening near the former Israeli embassy in Giza, according to Giza security authorities.
The explosion occurred on the Al-Gama’a Bridge, where the bomb was reportedly planted. Three cars were destroyed when the bomb exploded as they were driving past, the deputy chief of Giza prosecution told Youm7 on Tuesday.
Bomb squads have responded to the scene, authorities said.
No casualties have been reported yet, according to the Ministry of Interior.
