MINYA, Egypt:  Security bodies arrested 11 suspects of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group in Minya who are accused of storming and torching a police station and an attempt of bank robbery during the riots that hit the governorate in August following the dispersal of pro-MB sit-ins in Cairo and Giza.

The 11 are separately accused of torching Matay police station, attempting to attack Bani Mazar police station and rob Banque Misr branch in Deir Mawas village and forcibly closing Mallawi court, a security source said.

During a security clampdown, seven unlicensed firearms were seized, a pistol, three shotguns and three locally-made guns, with seven persons as well as four cold weapons, the source said.
