Libya to interrogate arrested Egyptians within two days: ministry

TRIPOLI: Libyan authorities will initiate investigations with more than 40 Egyptians in the next two days after they who were arrested over illegal residency, Libya’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

The spokesman asserted that the Egyptian nationals are in a good and safe place.

Earlier, an official source in Tripoli said Friday that a group of Libyans wearing military uniform arrested the Egyptians in the capital.
