CAIRO: “Igamdi,” a women’s initiative launched in May 2013 aiming to empower women in Egypt, is holding its fourth open session on March 22, at Semiramis Intercontinental.
Igmadi (stand strong) organizes series of events that faces the rising problem of sexual harassment in Egypt.
The event starts at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m., and invites women from all walks of life to partake in the activities, including Zumba fitness sessions, raising awareness through the Egyptian initiative Harassmap and boosting women’s self-confidence through the self-defense concept WenDo.
