RAMALLAH, Palestinian Territories: Palestinians living in the Palestinian territories and abroad including those in Egypt reiterated on Sunday their support to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s stance in face of the pressure put on him before heading to the United States to meet with President Barack Obama on Sunday.

These came during a rally that was organized by Fatah movement outside the Palestinian diplomatic mission in Cairo.

Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Barakat Al-Farra partook in the rally.

Farra said that the Palestinian people and the Arab nations support the Palestinian constants and inalienable rights and will not recognize Israel as a Jewish state nor a Palestinian state without Al-Quds (East Jerusalem) as its capital.

In a statement, Fatah asserted rejection of any solutions that do not recognize the rights of the Palestinian people, or any peace agreement that does not state a return for the refugees.
