CAIRO: The Anglican Church will hold an international conference for interfaith dialogue at a resort in Hurghada between March 19-21 called “Religion and Sate.”
“The aim behind this conference is rapprochement and encouraging dialogue among religions,” said the Red Sea governorate’s representative of the Anglican Church, Bishop Bashir Azmy.
A great number of authority figures in Islam and Christianity are expected to attend the conference along with a number of public figures, according to Azmy. Governor of the Red Sea Gen. Ahmed Abdallah will inaugurate the conference.
Sheikh al-Azhar’s consultant, Dr. Mahmoud Azmy will give a speech on the first day of the conference, and 30 members of Red Sea governorate are expected to participate.
