ISMAILIA, Egypt: Subsidized foodstuff retailers gathered at the main store in Ismailia on Sunday complaining of a shortage of rice and cooking oil.

The retailers demanded that Gamal Heneidy, General Manager of the Supply department in the governorate, provide the necessary quantities of goods so that citizens could receive them before the end of September.

“The retailers need to have the merchandise ready for delivery to the customers before the end of this month, and despite their crowding the needed supplies were not available, which angered the retailers,” said Mohammed Farrag one of the merchants.
