CAIRO: A delegation from a British firm has visited Egypt to make preliminary outlines and vision for the national project “Airport City,” the chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) said Wednesday.

Ashraf Zaki said talks with the British firm, specialized in planning for cities close to airports, started on Tuesday and will last until Thursday.

The meetings are planned to consider the preliminary outlines of the project, he added.

Zaki said the national project would create thousands of job opportunities, in addition to advance the status of Cairo International Airport among other world airports.
