
CAIRO: Bibliotheca Alexandrina will hold its annual symposium about the art of Charlie Chaplin on March 30 at 4:30 p.m.
The symposium comes on the sidelines of the Tenth Alexandrina International Book Fair which is scheduled to run from March 27 to April 8.
The symposium will be about his biography and will screen his most popular and notable films alongside a commentary on his vision.
Sir Charles Spencer “Charlie” Chaplin was an English comedy actor, filmmaker, and composer and is considered one of the most important figures in the history of film. His career spanned more than 75 years from his childhood until a year before his death at age 88.
