CAIRO: The Indian Embassy in Cairo organize Sari exhibition Indian textile in cooperation with Mahmoud Mokhtar museum and that in the period from April 9- 12 in Isis Hall at Mahmoud Mokhtar museum.
The exhibition show Indian sari clothes which are woven in seven Indian states in the north, south, east and west of India, according to official Facebook invitation for the event.
This show shed light on the forms of traditional and contemporary design in addition to the diversity of using natural materials and techniques that used in sari’s color design.
Also the exhibition will show some photographs by Tarun Chhabra.
“Tarun is a photographer who loves to celebrate people, places and culture through his work,” according to Indian Embassy Cairo official face book page.
