CAIRO: Zamalek’s Head Coach Helmy Tolan decided to change the team’s scheduled training on Monday to be held at 11 a.m. instead of 5 p.m. in an attempt to avoid the protests organized by the Ultras White Knights on the same day.

The White Knights announced that they will hold protests in front of the Attorney General’s Office to demand retribution for the killing of one of their members, Amr Hussein, on September 23 during clashes between the Ultras group and security forces, as well as security guards of the Zamalek Club.

A member of the group, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that this protest is a rebuttal for all the attacks that they have come under recently. He added that they plan on filing reports against the Chairman of the Zamalek Club Mamdouh Abbass, whom they claim is involved in the killing of 18-year-old Hussein.

Hussein received a bullet to the back of the head amid violent clashes on September 19 after a protest organized by the White Knights to demand the resignation of Abbass turned violent when they allegedly tried to storm into the Zamalek Club.
