BREAKING: Clashes erupt in Cairo University
By THE CAIRO POST

CAIRO: Clashes broke out between pro- and anti-Muslim Brotherhood students on the Cairo University campus on Tuesday, Youm7 reported.

The clashes started briefly after the pro-MB students staged a sudden protest inside the university, demanding for their detained colleagues to be released, and the return of expelled students.

Administrative security intervened to contain the situation and separate the clashing students inside the campus.

Another group of pro-MB students protested outside the university gates, chanting slogans against security forces and the army.

Security forces arrived at Nahda Square to secure the area and surround the protest.
