CAIRO: The Arab Foreign Ministers Council on Wednesday held Israel responsible for the current dangerous crisis in the Middle East peace talks.

The Arab ministers, at an extraordinary meeting here, urged expediting extending financial assistance to the Palestinian state.

They also renewed the Arab countries’ commitment not to deal with any company or corporation at the regional or international levels that has any partnership in the Israeli settlements.

They held Israel responsible for the current state of affairs because of its rejection of the peace process terms of reference and accused it of attempting to undermine the idea of a two-state solution which calls for setting up a Palestinian state inside the June 4, 1967 borders with Al-Quds as its capital.
