SHARQIA, Egypt: A woman in labor inside an ambulance was reportedly attacked on her way to a hospital in Minya by a political demonstration Friday, said Youm7.

The ambulance transporting Marwa Abdel Saeed, 28, allegedly was stopped for 30 minutes while a group of Muslim Brotherhood protestors insisted to search it. They left the car with its back glass broken after they found a woman in labor and allegedly assaulted the ambulance crew.

The Muslim Brotherhood organized three protests in Sharqia in Friday. One of them started in front of the organization’s main headquarters in Zagazig which was burned in June 30 uprising.
