April 20: Origami workshop to kick off in Raba’ el-Salam Center

CAIRO: An Origami workshop will be hosted at the Raba’ el-Salam Cultural Center by the Peace Initiative on April 20 at 6 pm.

Origami is a traditional Japanese art of folding paper that began in the 19th century, and is now considered a modern art.

The workshop will last for three months, including three levels of learning Origami. The first level teaches the basic shapes, the second level is for the complicated shapes, while the last level includes three dimensional shapes.

Between eight and twelve participants can participate in one workshop.  Applicants can be aged from 12 years old and above.
