CAIRO: The Egyptian ambassador to Tunisia, Ayman Mosharafa, returned to Cairo this evening. He was summoned back to discuss limiting Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki’s involvement in Egyptian affairs.

Marzouki asked Egypt to release ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood during his speech in front of the United Nations General Assembly last Thursday.

Mosharafa arrived in Egypt on a plane from Tunisia, on the orders of the Minister of Foreign Affairs after Marzouki’s statement.
