CAIRO: Mohamed ElBaradei and Ayman Nour’s memberships in the Egyptian Lawyers’ Syndicate have been revoked,  as they did not do “follow through” on their responsibilities, according to Youm7.

Member of the General Council of the Lawyers’ Syndicate, also known as the Bar Association Salah Saleh, and the coordinator of the agendas control and purification committee both said the Bar Association committee decided to revoke ElBaradei’s membershipas he travels abroad but does not practice his duties.

The committee also revoked Ayman Nour’s membership in the process of filtering out those who stopped practicing their profession and who do not follow the membership terms of the Bar Association.

Salah told Youm7 the committee continues to filter out the accepted members from those who are not very serious and do not give regard to membership terms. The committee is communicating with the sub-association in this regard on every decision.
