Intel Corporation posts income of $12.8bn in 1st quarter

CAIRO: American Multinational Company Intel Corporation announced Thursday the company’s income rose to $12.8 billion during the first quarter of current year, a 1 percent compared to the same period last year, according to a corporate press statement.

During the same period, the Intel Corporation’s revenues of Personal Computer sales worth at $7.9billion about 1percent decline in comparing to the same period of last year, it said.

In December 2013, the Intel Corporation inaugurated a new office for the company in the neighborhood of Maadi.

The Intel office in Egypt will comprise all the company’s business units in Egypt including the basic operating units and marketing.

Intel Corporation’s total receipts of its data center totaled $3.1billion, an 11 percent increase compared to the same period of last year, it said, adding that its receipts of paid dividends amounted to $1.1billion.
