VIENNA, Austria: The General Union of Egyptians in Austria slammed protests staged by Turks in the capital Vienna against Egypt and presidential hopeful Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

They called on the European Union to act against Egypt, the union said.

“The majority of Egyptians here were surprised by the protests staged by Turks who showed solidarity with members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood,” Ahmed Suliman, the union’s vice-president, told MENA.

“What the Turks are doing is a blatant interference in Egypt’s domestic affairs,” he said.
