Egypt prepares for face-off against Ghana with a friendly win

CAIRO: Egypt’s first football team, Pharaohs, beat Uganda 2-0 in a friendly match played at Air Defence (El-Defa’ El-Gawy) stadium, where the return match against Ghana for the World Cup’s qualifications should take place.

Pharaohs played this match without anyAl-Ahly players, as they were getting ready to face the Cameroonian Cotton Sport football team in the coming African Champions League semi-finals.

The first goal against Uganda was scored by Ahmed Eid Abd El-Malek, whilst the second one by Hazem Emam.

The Egyptian first football team will travel to Ghana to play against the Black Stars team in the southern city of Komassion Oct. 15.
