CAIRO: Unidentified assailants hurled Molotov cocktails at a traffic checkpoint on Talbiya Street in Giza on Tuesday, security sources reported to Youm7.

The attack resulted in damage to the checkpoint. No casualties have been reported and the perpetrators fled the scene, the source said.

Meanwhile, Muslim Brotherhood supporters staged a protest march late Tuesday on Talbiya Street, blocking the road leading to the Haram district, and setting fire to some car tires.
