DAR ES SALAM: Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab’s tours of Chad and Tanzania were successful, said the cabinet spokesperson on Saturday.
In statements to MENA, Hossam Qaweesh said the visits’ results will come out soon.
During the premier’s talks with the president and his counterpart of Chad, the African country showed support for Egypt to resume its suspended membership of the African Union.
Chad also backs the roadmap in Egypt, he added.
As for Mahlab’s visit to Tanzania, the spokesperson said it came at the invitation of the Tanzanian president to attend the 50th celebration of the Tanzanian Federation.
The PM had talks on the sidelines of the participation with African leaders who asserted support for Egypt.
