CAIRO: A bomb exploded late Sunday inside a house in Azizya village, Sharqia, leading to the injury of the 3 boys who planted it, reported Youm7.
Sameh el-Kelani, head of Sharqia Security Directorate, said one of the students’ fathers had been detained Thursday over charges of inciting violence, Masrawy reported.
The boy tried to make a bomb with two of his friends following some instructions on a website, but the bomb detonated in front of them, Youm7 reported.
The injured were transferred to Al-Ahrar hospital in Zagazig, and a police report was filed.
After the explosion, civil protection forces and bomb disposal experts carried out a comprehensive inspection at the house, where they found a large quantity of ammunition and gunpowder, in addition to another homemade bomb, reported Youm7.
After the dispersal of the pro-Muslim Brotherhood sit-ins at Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda Square in August 2013, attacks on security and police forces have taken place frequently. Several different groups have claimed responsibility for the attacks on security and police forces over the past several months.
