CAIRO: Mada Masr, in coordination with the British Council and the Arab Digital Expression Foundation (ADEF), is organizing an evening of sound, music and dialogue on April 30 at Rawabet Theater.
During the evening, ”The Sound of Stories,” there will be a series of dialogues with historians, broadcasters, musicians and singers about the history of Arabic music, radio, music archives, copyright, intellectual property, the right to broadcast and the Internet as a platform for audio expression.
Ahmed Kamal, founder of Gramafone online radio, Abdel Rahman Hussein, founder of Dandin.me and Mustafa Said, director of Arab Music Archiving and Research Foundation, will participate in the evening.
The evening will be preceded by a workshop on audio production.
