Retired army colonel shot dead in Arish

CAIRO: Head of Misr El Kheir foundation Al-Arish branch  Reda Ramsy died from a gunshot wound to the neck on Sunday, according to Youm7.

Ramsy was shot in the neck by an unknown assailant near El-Khazan in Arish on his way to his work, a security source said and that Ramsey was transferred to Al-Arish military hospital where he later died due to his injuries.

Ramsy was a former army officer and was shot when he was in his car and distributing aid to the poor in the governorate of Arish.
