CAIRO: The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM) requested Sunday the Sharqia governorate provide psychological care for a boy who was allegedly raped by his neighbor.

The incident was first reported by the Dream TV 2 last week, and the victim’s family has claimed the attack was politically motivated.

“When I was singing the Sisi song… the man called me to bring a key from the shop then he closed the door and did bad things with me,” the child said in the report while his face was blurred.

“You are always holding pictures of Sisi and singing ‘Teslam el Ayade’ song …I will humiliate you and Sisi,” the mother said what her son told her the attack.

“Teslam el Ayade” song literally means “Thanks for your effort,” and has become an unofficial popular anthem for the military since the July 3 ouster of Mohamed Morsi.

Furthermore, the father said that he waived the report against the rapist after receiving threats.

The General Head of the Council Azz el Ashmawy in her statements to Youm7 referred that there are other three cases of children who were raped in the same governorate within the last days.

The child helpline received yesterday a report indicating that a 3-year-old child was raped by another child and the mother of the victim held the alleged rapist child at her house and then killed him, Ashmawy added.

A 5-year old girl called Zeina in Port Said was murdered in November 2013; she was thrown off a rooftop by men who had attempted to rape her. The men were sentenced to 11 years in prison.
