The Israeli occupation forces decided on Monday to close Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing for two days on the occasion of Israel’s celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut which is a modern holiday celebrating the so-called Israel’s independence.

Palestinian sources said Israeli occupation forces closed “Beit Hanoun” crossing, in northern the Gaza Strip, except for travelers from the Israeli side.

Karm Abu Salem crossing is the only commercial gateway through which Israel allows the entry of commodities and fuel to the enclave.
