CAIRO: Artellewa will host the opening exhibition of “Green: Digital Installation” prepared by artist Ahmed el-Shaer on May 6.
The project reprograms the digits used in the old video game Atari, which was deliberately “corrupted” as the artist played with shades of green to change the game’s digit codes.
Shaer is an artist specialized in digital technology and has participated in several initiatives and with organizations who aim to develop independent and contemporary arts.
Time: May 6 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and May 8 to May 18 (Sunday to Thursday) from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Location: 19 Mohamed Ali Al Eseary, Ard El Lewa, Giza
