CAIRO: The Organization of Arab Peoples and Parliaments (OAPP), under Abdel Aziz Abdullah, expressed on Tuesday its appreciation for the role played by Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy to post the foreign countries on the real situation in Egypt.

“Fahmy managed to restore Egypt’s leading role at the international and Arab levels,” the OAPP said, revealing that it will send a delegation to the foreign ministry headquarters to pay tribute to the minister.

It further noted that Russian-Egyptian relations should be bolstered following Fahmy’s successful visit in November.

“Egypt should also hold talks with India, China, South Korea and Japan on trade cooperation,” the organization said.

It also valued Cairo’s proposal to host a conference on the Syrian crisis.
