Sisi said he was the target of two assassination attempts but did not give details of these attempts in an interview conducted by television hosts Lamis el-Hadidi and Ibrahim Eissa on ONTV and CBC satellite channels Monday.

An arrested terrorist led security authorities to the location of a terrorist cell in Sharks village in Qalyubia, MENA reported on March 21. The informer was earlier arrested during an armed attack that targeted two buses affiliated to the army in Al-Amiria, Cairo.

“It takes a long time to force the car thieves to admit guilt, but for terrorist groups it is much easier because they are such cowards,”  Nour said.
