CAIRO: Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said western powers have to realize that the final phase of nuclear talks are no place for negligence, IRNA reported.

The speaker made the remarks here on Monday during the parliament’s open session on the threshold of the new round of nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1.

He asserted that the negotiating team is authorized to conduct talks only on nuclear topics.

Larijani noted that the world hegemonic powers have been standing against the Islamic Revolution by using their economic power and through political treachery.

He said that American officials have been recently uttering senseless remarks regarding Iran’s nuclear talks and have indulged themselves in posing threats to the country’s nuclear activities under political gestures.

Larijani said big western powers are seemingly mistaking the arena of nuclear talks with political sham games.

He stressed that the nuclear talks are a scene to prove degree of the truth of the hollow accusations leveled against Tehran.

The speaker reiterated that the Iranian nation now is enjoying peaceful nuclear technology and is not willing to bargain on it.
