GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip: Israeli occupation authorities on Monday reopened Karam Abu Salem trade crossing, southeast of the strip, after a two-day closure due to Israeli holidays.

Raed Fattouh, chairman of the coordination committee for the entry of goods into the Gaza Strip, said in a press release that 400 trucks loaded with goods were allowed to carry aid to the commercial and agricultural sectors.

Fattouh added amounts of gasoline, diesel and cooking gas will also be pumped into the coastal enclave.

Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which the Israeli authorities allow the entry of commodities to Gaza.
