TRIPOLI: Mohammed al-Hegazi, a spokesman for Libyan Gen. Khalifa Hafter, said Friday that the army loyal to Hafter has managed to release 20 Egyptian workers who were detained in a farm in Sidi Farag in Benghazi.

He added that military operations were carried out Thursday in the districts of Qwaresha, Sidi Farag and Qunfudah in Benghazi.

Three cars were destroyed during the operations, he added.

Air raids also demolished extremist hotbeds in Qunfudah district, Hegazi added.
