CAIRO: Cairo Jazz Club will launch the first night of Sama3ny Maziktak/El-Fusion Oriental Music festival for June in Cairo on June 5.
The night’s featured bands will combine Malmo-based Tarabband, flying all the way from Sweden to present their special Arab music heritage mixed Middle Eastern, Nordic folk, traditional music, and jazz all led by vocalist Nadine al-Khalidi.
Egypt’s award-winning soft rock Wust el-Balad band will also bring in their blended tunes between Arabic music and Western twist with guitarist and vocalist Hany Adel.
El-Fusion festival brings together different Arab influenced bands from around the world into a series of events taking place in Cairo, Alexandria, and Mansoura in June.
