CAIRO: Ousted President Mohamed Morsi urged his supporters to continue demonstrating his official Facebook page posted in a message Wednesday.
“Walk on the path of your peaceful white revolution steadily,” read the message.
Morsi said the Egyptian people made their silence heard when they did not participate in “the play of inaugurating the leader of the coup.”
He said he did not spare any effort in combating corruption and crime by law and once by revolutionary procedures.
“All the free people did not recognize this coup,” he said.
Morsi, who is currently in prison, was removed from his office on July 3, 2013 when millions went to the street demanding his resignation, which lead the army to topple him.
