CAIRO: General Prosecutor Hisham Barakat referred Wednesday an employee of the Public Transportation Authority to criminal court after allegedly harassing a French woman in Falaky Street, downtown Cairo, Youm7 reported.
Two French women working in Cairo were reportedly walking in Falaky Street when a man who had followed them approached and touched one woman. When the two screamed, bystanders gathered and took the alleged attacker to the police station of Sayeda Zainab district.
The accused has denied the charges, and said he touched her accidentally.
